Our Approach to Accessibility
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most widely used for web accessibility. That guides how pages are structured, how color and contrast are chosen, and how every interactive element behaves.
This is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time fix. As we add pages, update photography, or change a layout, we check the new work against the same standard rather than assuming it still holds.
What This Site Does
- Pages are built from real headings and landmarks, so a screen reader can describe the page and move between sections instead of reading it as one block of text.
- Every interactive element, including the menu, the buttons, and the contact form, can be reached and operated from a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text and interface colors are chosen to meet accessible contrast levels against the background behind them, including over photography.
- Meaningful photographs carry a text description for anyone who cannot see the image itself.
- Motion on the site is short and purposeful, and it steps aside for a visitor whose device is set to reduce motion.
Known Limitations
No website is perfect, and this one is no exception. If a page, a form, or a feature does not work the way you expect with your assistive technology, that is something we want to know about and fix.
